Do I need to book weeks in advance?2020-08-07T09:13:02+09:30

No, you can book the day before if you wish the only problem is availability, booking in advance assures you a better chance of being able to move when you want to. As soon as you have a definite date in mind give us a call, however if plans change you can change your date at no extra cost.

What sort of equipment do you use?2020-08-07T09:13:35+09:30

We use only fully equipped furniture removal trucks. Each vehicle contains furniture removal pads, blankets and ties to protect your furniture during transit. All vehicles have tie-rails so that your furniture can be fixed securely into position for the journey ahead, preventing the load from shifting and crushing fragile items. Other equipment includes sack trolleys to move boxes and other items, piano trolleys (to safely move your piano or other heavy items) and Mattress straps to carry your mattress without it getting dirty or damaged. All trucks also come equipped with a toolbox for dismantling and re assembling.

Insurance?2023-03-05T20:47:37+10:30

All moves are covered by complementary ‘Transit Insurance’ and ‘Accidental Damage Insurance.

Transit Insurance: covers your items from fire or theft while they are in the truck.

Items which aren’t covered include; Pot plants,  Ceramics, TV’s not in their original boxes, Stone, Marble and IKEA like furniture (Super A Mart, Haggle, and Fantastic Furniture).

Items in boxes that have not been packed by Easy As Removals while the utmost care is taken are not covered.

Accidental Damage Insurance: Items or property damaged as a result of negligence will be covered and will be dealt with on a case by case basis. Situations where an incident has occurred due to Product malfunction either white goods or furniture are not covered but will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

While the utmost care is taken, we do not inspect in great detail each item going onto the truck due to not wanting to waste the customer’s time. It is to be taken on the basis that all second hand furniture will have some minor scuffs or marks we try our best to point out large blemishes to the customer before we move their furniture.”
